Tactile Interrogator is the first graphical command shell designed for power users. Whereas most file managers are really web browsers that do a mediocre job of file management, Interrogator concentrates on its job: files, directories, and volumes.

File icons vary in size and color according to permissions, dates and consumed disk space.
File, directory and volume information is cached for rapid access
Reported sizes of directories are total for whole directory, not just the directory file itself
